MEET THE FBC STUDENT LEADERSHIP STAFF

While most high school students are enjoying fun days at the beach or working summer jobs these dedicated FBC Students have chosen to give their time and heart to making Mission Serve happen ‘behind the scenes’. Their job includes making sure all the details are covered so our mission serve teams can focus on ministry to our community. Some of their jobs include cleaning bathrooms, classrooms, hallways and organizing coolers and supplies for the next day of work. These students are making a big impact this week and eagerly answered the question, ‘Why I Serve’. See if you can spot a theme?

McKenna- I love watching the other kids grow and I have such a better respect for the people behind the scenes.

Allison– I LOVE this church. If something’s happening I want to be here and be a part of what’s going on!

Hannah– I really love Mission Serve. I like being behind the scenes and seeing what takes place.

Alyssa– It’s important to serve because we have been blessed with amazing facilities and a beautiful city. We’ve been given a lot so we should be willing to give back.

Laura Ellen– I want to be a part and see the other side of helping in a different way.

Sloan– I want to help our community.

Morgan– I like the projects that Mission Serve does. I also think it’s fun to serve with my friends and to learn the behind the scenes.

Greer– Every year I’ve been on our youth mission trips and this year it’s so fun to be on the other end being the support and behind the scenes team making it all run smoothly!

Bailey– I would have helped anyway but Nathan needed my help. I love seeing behind the scenes and being a part of the support team.

McKenna- I love watching the other kids grow and I have such a better respect for the people behind the scenes.

Chris- These people have traveled so far it’s the least I can do to make their stay good is as possible.

Trey– The teams work hard, they deserve to have a nice, clean place to come back to with a good meal.

Ian– I help because it’s the right thing to do. I feel like I’m helping serve my city.
